riding on the 4 wheeler
crawling all over you when he sits with you on the couch
any phone ( he will even hold it up to his ear or put it up to yours )
watermelon
blackberries
being outside
milk
ice cream
his truck and little wheeler
his wagon
ice
giving kisses
runs to ryon as soon as he gets home from work
giving high fives
we have about 10 teeth right now and weigh 22 pounds
playing with Daisy

Good Luck Uncle John!

We did not post about John's graduation from Law School this past May.  I just got some pictures from Beth.  This week John will be taking his bar exam so we are wishing him luck!  Here are some pictures from his graduation.  We are so proud of you!!!

We love visitors!

The past two weekends we have had family come and visit.  Last weekend Granny and Grandpa came to visit, Ely played and played while while they were her.  We took them up to the river and showed them around and enjoyed some snow cones.  Then we headed home just in time before the it poured down rain. We had a blast and cant wait to see them again.

Then this weekend Sara and Beth came up to visit.  We just relaxed and hung out while they were here.  We took them up to the river and showed them around the river too and came home to eat some watermelon, which is one of Ely's favorite foods right now.  I cant believe the summer is flying by and before you know it I will be back to work.

So tired after Granny and Grandpa left!

Hey Dad, this is my piece!

Our little monkey

I was in the kitchen and looked over and this is what I see. I got my phone and snapped some shots before he knew I was watching him.

Leakey Parade

This past weekend my friend Ricia and I loaded up the kids for a trip to Leakey to watch the 4th of July parade.  This was our first trip to the parade and the kids had a great time.  It was a hot morning but we made it through, and even let the adults get in some shopping at the booths in town after.  I hope to make this a yearly tradition and maybe next year we can get Ryon to take us back that night for the street dance and rodeo.  Here are the pictures of Ely and his friends.

I have never seen a float with a deer head on it!
The Lawn Chair Brigade, they were the funniest and had a routine and everything with there lawn chairs
Ready to get some candy

Ricia and Ely
most of the floats had people tossing candy and others came with water guns and they would shoot the crowd.  If you look closely, there were some parade goers who were ready for payback.

Just like dad!

Each morning when Ryon leaves for work, Ely follows him out the door trying to go with him. This morning he even got in his truck and was ready to drive away!

Watermelon time!

Here is Ely enjoying some watermelon on the 4th. We did not do much, just had some friends over for dinner and popped some fireworks. All in all it was a great day.
